Good News for Hatteras Island’s visitors, business’s and residents. Power is restored and at 12 noon Friday Hatteras Island is open for everyone. We had sunny skies and clam winds. The winds were from the south-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
This is a great night to flounder gig in the Pamlico Sound.
No beach report today. The weather was nice and I’m sure there were some fish to be had.
The inshore boats are catching speckled trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had good wahoo, a few dolphin and triggerfish and vermilion snapper from the bottom.
