Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
The Day at the Docks Festival will be going on all day down at Hatteras Village Waterfront on Saturday the 16th. A great way to experience what the men and women who work on and around the water do.
Today we had sunny skies and more calm winds. The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph.
We have lots of fresh finger mullet in the bait box.
Up on the Avon beach croaker,sea mullet and spot were reported. Around the Buxton beaches and Cape Point/ Shelley Island puppy drum, sea mullet, spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught. Over on the Frisco beaches sea mullet were caught.
The inshore boats caught speckled trout, bluefish and puppy drum.
The offshore boats had real good dolphin catches, some black fin tuna and good wahoo fishing. 2 sailfish were released today.
