Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches puppy drum and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco and down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum and a few small stripers were caught.
The inshore boats had catches of puppy drum, big red drum, speckled trout, gray trout, bluefish and flounder in the Pamlico Sound today..
The offshore boats had scattered wahoo, dolphin, black fin tuna and a few king mackerel are starting to show. The bottom fishing continues to be good with vermilion snapper and trigger fish being caught.
