Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny and warm. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph with gusts in the 20’s. The temperatures were in the low 70’s.
Out at Cape Point in Buxton lots of big red drum caught today along with blow toads and sea mullet. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beach lots of blow toads and some nice sea mullet were reported.
Pictured is John Haze’s catch, a mess of blow toads and sea mullet caught around the Hook near Cape Point.
The inshore boats caught some flounder and some big red drum today in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had good black fin tuna catches with several citations. A few yellowfin tuna, dolphin and king mackerel were also caught.
