Today started out sunny with temperatures in the 70s. Winds were light at <10mph. Winds started to pick up and temperatures cooled off in the late afternoon as the clouds rolled in. Winds will be picking up through the weekend.
The jetties in Buxton have continued to have a good Speckled Trout bite. Hatteras Inlet was deep with cars fishing for Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout.
No inshore report for today.
The offshore boats had excellent catches of king mackerel and a few Blackfin Tuna.
