Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Weather for today was 75F with winds out of the East at 14mph. Looks like more of the same winds and weather for tomorrow as well.

More Sea Mullet today on all beaches. North of the point there were some Spot, Blowtoads, Flounder and Bluefish caught. Here on 48 and 49 there was a mix bag of small fish. Ramp 55 in Hatteras had a mixed bag of Blowtoads, Flounder and spot. All fish caught there were on the small side as well.

Rodanthe Pier– no reports as of time of posting

Avon Pier– more large Red Drum today.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras did well with citation sized King Mackerel. Their catches were rounded out with some Wahoo, Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna.

Inshore boats brought back Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.
