Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Hot and humid Friday with a high temperature of 84F. Winds are out of the SE right now at 11mph. Should be another nice day tomorrow with more of the same weather on tap.

Sea Mullet was the catch of the day today on most of the beaches.

Conditions were right for the Big Drum down off the end of Hatteras again this morning.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras finally made it out today and the fish were biting. Plenty of Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna and various bottom fish. Two Blue Marlin and one White Marlin were released.

Inshore boats also had a good day with Speckled Trout, Sheepshead and Drum.
