Happy 4th of July! Hope you enjoyed yourself and stayed safe. Our high temperature was 83F just after noon today. Right now winds are blowing out of the SW at 11mph. Looks like more of the same temps tomorrow with winds changing it up and coming out of the West.
Large swells and currents here on the southern beaches made for a tough day surf fishing.
Reports of nice Speckled Trout in the sound from Avon down to Hatteras.
Most of the boats made it offshore bringing back lots of Dolphin again today.
Bite Me released 2 White Marlins!
Native Son and Chaser both released Blue Marlins today as well.
Bottom fishing was plentiful. Anglers brought back mixed bags of Amberjack, Snowy Grouper and Beeliners.
Inshore boats had good catches of Speckled Trout. Nearshore boats found some Spanish Mackerel.
