Hatteras Island Fishing Report

August is coming to an end with more beautiful weather today. High temperature of 88F again today. Winds are out of the SW right now at 12mph. Looks like late Wednesday/Thursday we will be picking up the remnants of the hurricane. Higher winds and rain moving in.

Some Spanish Mackerel and bluefish at the point earlier today.

Bluefish here in Frisco off of ramp 49.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras brought back Dolphin, scattered Wahoo and some Grouper. Couple Blue Marlin and Sailfish were released as well.

Inshore boats were catching Red Drum and Speckled Trout.
