Pretty last day of August here. Our high temp topped off at 88F in Frisco this afternoon. Winds are out of the SW right now at 19mph. Looks like a chance for some thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon with some gusty winds.
It has been real quiet here today off of the surf.
Still Speckled Trout and puppy Drum being caught in the sound.
Offshore boats out of Hatteras had to work hard for their catches today. They did manage some Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and various bottom fish. Native Son released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish.
Inshore boats did good with Speckled Trout, Bluefish and keeper Red Drum.
