Hatteras Island Fishing Report

So far, September’s weather is not disappointing. Today we had a high of 81F. Winds are out of the East this evening at 7mph

Rodanthe Pier- puppy Drum, False Albacore, Flounder, Spot and Jack Crevalle

Avon beaches- puppy Drum, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel.

Frisco beaches- Spanish Mackerel at sunset

Offshore boats out of Hatteras had good catches of Wahoo and Dolphin. They also caught a variety of Tuna, Blackfin, Skipjack and Yellowfin. Two Sailfish were also released.

Inshore boats caught their limits of Bluefish and keeper Drum. Several citation sized Drum were also caught
