Hatteras Island Fishing Report

September is flying by with today already being the 19th.! Today was another perfect day to be here on the island. Our afternoon temperature topped off at 84F. Tomorrow is looking like it will be more of the same. Winds are showing out of the NE this evening right around 15mph.

Drum fishing is upon us. Puppy Drum were caught off of both piers today as well as all beaches from Rodanthe to Hatteras. Several larger Drum were also caught in Buxton today as well.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras today found Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and some King Mackerel.
