Hatteras Island Fishing Report

The high today was 88. Winds were gentle to moderate and mainly out of the WSW/SW today. Currently it’s 83 but feels like 87 with winds out of the SW around 13mph with gusts up to 23mph. The wind is on track to decrease but is predicted to be moderate throughout the day tomorrow. Tomorrow’s temps are looking to be nearly the same as today with a predicted high of 88 as well. Rain looks like it’s going to start around 1:30am and continue until around 8:00am. Hopefully that’ll change overnight and won’t bother any fishing trips in the morning.

Surf report included Red Drum, Bluefish, and Sea Mullet.

Sound report included Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish.

Inshore boats caught Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish.

Offshore boats caught Dolphin and Wahoo. There was also a release of a Sailfish.
