Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Today’s high was 66 while the low was 62 with light to strong winds. Gusts up to 42mph. Currently it’s 66, feels like 60, with SSW winds around 18mph. Gusts around 33mph. Tomorrow temps should decrease to mid 50s. Winds will also be decreasing throughout tonight and into early morning before picking up speed again tomorrow afternoon/evening. Rain showers likely in the early morning.

Sound water temp: 52-56

Ocean water temp: ~47-50

Not much of a fishing report lately. Just steady Drum and Tuna the past several days.

Surf: Red Drum

Sound: No report.

Inshore: No report.

Offshore: Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna

Releases: No report.
