Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had temperatures in the upper 70’s and winds out of the southwest, blowing hard at times.
Avon Pier and beach has reports of sea mullet, spot, croaker and sharks. The southwest winds have brought a good drum bite to Cape Point, especially yesterday. It is estimated around 150 were caught and released. There were some caught this morning also. On the southside of the Point there were some puppy drum and sea mullet. Frisco and Hatteras are reporting bluefish and sea mullet.
The inshore boats had both release and keeper drum.
The offshore boats had some mahi, blackfin tuna and a scattered wahoo bite. There was also a couple of blue marlin caught and released today.
