Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Happy Valentines Day.  I hope everyone had good Valentines Day.  Today the weather was nice with sunny skies, light rain and wind.  We had light south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.  The beach had a lot of people beach combing but no fish caught.  Tomorrow is the first day of the ORV permit system, there were quite a few people driving to places where they may not be able to drive if the plan stays in place.  My wife and I drove out to Cape Point from the Frisco ramp 49 today, It could be the last time to access the Hook.  Well the offshore bluefin tuna fishing was once again really good.  Only a couple of boats fishing but they had all the bluefin tuna they wanted.
