Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was sunny.  We had east north-east winds at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  The next two days are supposed to be extremely windy and rainy.  The low pressure system coming up from the south-west is going to produce lots of rain and winds from the east at 20-35 mph and the temperatures in the mid 50’s.  Sunday night and Monday the winds could be as high as 40 mph from the north.  The fishing at Cape Point and along the south beach was a little better today, some blow toads and sharks were caught.  The offshore fishing continues to be pretty good.  There were lots of bluefin tuna, but today they were not biting as well, only a few caught.  The yellowfin tuna, dolphin and wahoo bites were scattered today.
