Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a nice day for the end of December. We reached temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s. The winds were out of the northeast this morning, then out of the southwest this evening, between 5-9 mph.
We had a report of some flounder at the point. There were also some short flounder and blow toads caught in Hatteras. Let’s not forget spiney dog sharks. They are being caught up and down the beaches.
No boats fishing inshore or offshore today. The inshore guides are in full duck hunting mode. They have been seeing pintails, brant and red heads mostly. Most of the offshore fleet are commercial fishing right now.
