Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:  Well Cape Point has been closed to vehicular traffic as of yesterday.  You can still walk from the narrows about 200 yards in the water and then back up on the beach to fish the Cape.  There are still sea mullet and blow toads being caught there and maybe a drum.  The sea mullet and blow toads and a few bluefish are up and down the south beaches Frisco to Hatteras.  The Hatteras beaches had a few drum caught a bit bigger than keeper size.  Well the offshore fleet found the wahoos today, as well as a few more yelllowfin tu

This morning was nice and sunny.  We had north-west winds 5-10 mph increasing to 15-20 mph by the afternoon.  The temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
