Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Beautiful day here on the island. Bit of fog early on this morning letting the sun shine through this afternoon. High for today was 73F with winds out of the East at 12mph. Looks like the winds are going to remain the same out of the East tomorrow as well.

Storm off the coast is making for choppy waters on the surf but the fish are still biting here and there. Pompano caught off the point earlier today by one of our customers. Couple of Bluefish in Hatteras and here in Frisco, scattered smaller Pompano and a couple of Blues.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras did very well with King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna. They also reported scattered Wahoo catches.

Inshore boats once again caught good amounts of Red Drum.
