Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Rain…That is the word of the day. Rain moved in early this morning and has stuck around most of the day. High for today was 72F with winds out of the SE at 12mph. Looks like the rain should taper off early tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed….

Reports of puppy Drum caught north of Avon early this morning. Big Red Drum were being caught off the Avon Pier today. Red Drum caught off of the point today. Unfavorable surf conditions here in Frisco off of ramp 49. As of tonight, we had no reports here.

The offshore boats out of Hatteras that did go out did well with Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin. They also caught King Mackerel and a few Wahoo.

Inshore boats again caught a lot of Red Drum and some Speckled Trout.
