Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

A bit cloudy and overcast today with a high of 73F. Winds were out of the N at 14mph. Looks like the winds will die down a bit tomorrow and shift to the NE.

A little slow on the surf with reports of puppy Drum being caught at the point this morning. Here in Frisco at ramp 49 anglers did catch a fair amount of Sea Mullet. Speckled Trout and puppy Drum are still being caught sound side from Avon to Hatteras.

A few boats ventured offshore today and brought back Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna. One Sailfish was also caught and released.

The inshore boats did very well with Red Drum again today. They also caught some Speckled Trout.
