Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today in Frisco was a little cooler but plenty of sunshine.  We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.  The Avon beach had some nice sea mullet and a few puppy drum.  Out at Cape Point some big bluefish were caught.  The Frisco beaches had a few bluefish and puppy drum.  Over ramp 55 in Hatteras there were some big bluefish caught.  The inshore boats had good bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing.  A 46″ red drum was released and a few cobia were also caught.  The offshore fishing was real good today.  Lots of gaffer dolphin, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  One white marlin was released.
