Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend whether you are here on the island or somewhere else.! We had a great day for weather here in Frisco. Our high temperature was 82F. More of the same for tomorrow as well. This evening we have winds out of the SW at 14mph.

Rodanthe Pier- Flounder and a nice King Mackerel were reported

Avon beaches had some scattered puppy Drum

Quiet here in Frisco.

Good day for the offshore boats out of Hatteras. Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Yellowfin Tuna were brought in. Four Blue Marlins and one Sailfish were released as well.

Inshore boats caught their limits of Bluefish and slot Red Drum.

  • (12/22/2022) Today’s high was 63 while the low was 53. Winds have been light to very strong. Currently it’s 58, feels like 53, with WSW winds at 13mph. Gusts are up to 20mph.
