Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Good morning and Happy Thursday! Little late on the evening fishing news. We had a gorgeous day yesterday with high a high temperature of 75F. Another day of the same today so get out there and fish. Winds this morning are out of the SW at 11mph.

Rodanthe Pier- puppy Drum and Bluefish in the am, big Drum moved in for the evening.

Avon Pier- Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish

Avon beaches reported Sea Mullet, Blowtoads, Pompano, Black Drum and Croaker.

False Albacore and Spanish Mackerel on the point.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras had a great day catching Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel and some bottom fish.

Inshore boats caught Bluefish, Drum and Speckled Trout.

Have a great day out there fishing! Plenty of fresh Mullet in all sizes along with fresh shrimp and bloodworms.
