Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was sunny today with the occasional rain shower. We had south-west winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s. Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite on lures was really good. A few spanish mackerel and lots of sharks were also caught. Over on the Frisco beach some bluefish, sea mullet and pompano were reported. The Hatteras beach had some decent catches of bluefish and sea mullet, with some flounder and puppy drum caught. The inshore boats caught lots of drum mostly just over the limit of 27″. A few bluefish and speckled trout were also caught. The offshore boats caught good bailer dolphin with some limits and some wahoo. A few nice grouper were brought up from the bottom and one sailfish was released.

The Okuma Cedros Spinning Reels feature High-Speed gear ratio on all models. This is a great reels to match up with a 9′ or 10′ 1-4oz rod to cast lures to the spanish mackerel and bluefish.
