Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today. We had north-west winds switching to the north-east 5-15 mph the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
Bluefish, sea mullet and pompano were reported on the Avon beach. The Buxton beaches had good bluefish and pompano. Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good with a few puppy drum mixed in.
On the Frisco beach bluefish were reported along with some sea mullet and pompano. One pompano was a citation 5 lb 12 oz caught by Francis Kennedy.
The Hatteras beaches had a few puppy drum, bluefish, pompano and flounder.
The inshore boats caught bluefish, spanish mackerel and some cobia. The offshore boats had good fishing today. Dolphin and wahoo fishing was really good with some king mackerel, yellowfin and blackfin tunas mixed in. A few sailfish were released as well. Some good trigger fish were brought up from the bottom.
