Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Happy 4th of July! It was a beautiful day to be on the beach or fishing. Today’s high got up to 88. Winds have been light to gentle today. Tomorrow’s temps and winds are looking similar to today. Currently it feels like 87 degrees with E winds at 8mph.

Surf catches included Red Drum, Bluefish, Croaker, and Sea Mullet.

Sound catches included Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and a lonely Cobia that was unexpectedly caught by one of our customers.

Inshore boats brought in Speckled Trout, Bluefish, and Red Drum.

Offshore boats brought in Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin and Triggerfish. There was also a Swordfish caught and a Blue Marlin and Sailfish released.
