Another beautiful island day. The high was 70 while the low was 55. We’ve had light to gentle winds. Currently it’s 57, feels like 56, with E winds around 4mph. Tomorrow we’ll see temps from ~61-71 and increased winds. Winds are predicted to start off light in the morning and be strong by the evening, steadily increasing in speed throughout the day.
As summer is quickly approaching and the amount of visitors to the island increases, please be mindful of digging holes in the sand. You should never dig a hole deep enough to climb into and should always fill in any holes before leaving the beach. Unfortunately, we are reminded of this today as there was an incident right here in Frisco. Read about it here: NPS News Article.
