Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had a clear skies today.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 40’s.

We do have a better report today.  Some nice puppy drum catches were reported on the Hatteras beach using cut mullet.  Also plenty of dog sharks and skates.

Same report as yesterday with no boats fishing inshore and one boat that had excellent king mackerel fishing offshore today with citation size fish.

The treble hook is an Eagle Claw 4X strong, size 4 bronze.  With the king mackerel catches so good, right now is a good time to be fishing offshore.
