Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had partly sunny skies with some rain showers.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

Tomorrow is the first day of the Ocracoke Island Surf Fishing Tournament.  Good Luck to all the participants.

Today there were some blow toads and sea mullet caught on the Avon and Buxton beaches.  The Frisco beach had some puppy drum and sea mullet caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach a few bluefish and sea mullet reported.

No boats fishing inshore.  Only a few boats out offshore today.  They had some good dolphin fishing and a few black fin tuna and wahoo reported.

Check out today’s featured product:

 kershaw echelon knife

The Kershaw Echelon Folding Knife features SpeedSafe assisted opening and opens with a thumbstud that seems to float on air hovering in the middle of an over-sized blade cutout. To add to the airy feeling, they used natural G-10 to create a semi-translucent handle that allows you to see the operation of the SpeedSafe mechanism inside. The Echelon also features an Inset Liner Lock and new reversible deep-carry pocket clip for discreet pocket carry and is Made in the USA.
