Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Fishing today was a little better.  We had some bluefish and sea mullet caught on the Buxton,  Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  Some Croakers and a blowtoad were caught over Ramp 55 in Hatteras.

No boats fishing inshore today.  Good fishing offshore today. Lots of dolphin, some yellowfin and blackfin tuna and a nice bunch of grouper  A sailfish, two white marlin and one blue marlin were released today.

Tomorrow is the first day of the Hatteras Village Offshore Open.  They fish through May 18th.  Good Luck to all the boats fishing.
