Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was mostly sunny with some scattered showers. We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Fishing was a little slower today. The Buxton beaches caught a few sea mullet and bluefish today. Out at Cape Point a few big red drum were released today. The Frisco beach reported a few sea mullet and bluefish. Down on the Hatteras beach there were some bluefish, croaker and sea mullet caught.
All of the inshore boats are targeting cobia and today several were caught. The Pamlico sound is still producing some good blue fishing and puppy drum. The offshore fleet is still catching big dolphin, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna. A few sailfish were released. The “Free Agent” pictured had a awasome day today with several Cobia caught. Now is the best time to come on down chase after the cobia’s here off of the coast of Hatteras Island.
