Today we had another beautiful day with sunny skies and light winds.  The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

The Buxton beaches were the same as yesterday with sea mullet, bluefish and a few pompano caught.   Out at Cape Point there some spanish mackerel and bluefish reported.    The Frisco beach report had some sea mullet, bluefish, a few flounder, sheepshead and pompano.  Down on the Hatteras beach there were some sea mullet and a couple decent size cobia caught.

The inshore boats had some decent catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish with a good amount of cobia caught.  The picture below is a 83 lb cobia caught aboard the ‘Godspeed” charter boat today.
