Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

The Buxton beaches had sea mullet, flounder and bluefish.  Out at Cape Point good catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had some sea mullet and bluefish.

The inshore boats had a few spanish mackerel and some cobia. The sea bass and triggerfish catches were really good.  The Pamlico Sound produced real good speckled trout fishing.

The offshore boats had good dolphin catches and some blackfin tuna and wahoo.  A couple of blue marlin were released today.
