Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s

On the Buxton beaches the reports were a few puppy drum and black drum caught.  On the Frisco beaches there were black drum, puppy drum and some sea mullet reported.   Down on the Hatteras beaches bluefish, a few puppy drum and black drum were caught.

The inshore boats had good cobia catches in the Pamlico Sound.  The spanish mackerel fishing was good along the beaches today.

The offshore fleet had a rough and windy day with a few dolphin, blackfin and yellowfin tuna.
