Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies. The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 90 degrees.
On the Buxton beach today we had sea mullet and pompano caught. Out on the Frisco beach only some sea mullet were reported. The Hatteras beach had a pretty good day with puppy drum, sea mullet, pompano and even some spanish mackerel were caught.
The inshore boats caught some big red drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound today. The offshore fishing was good today. Some excellent catches of dolphin, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna were reported. Several marlin were spotted today with only a few sailfish and blue marlin released. Below is the “Bite Me” charter boat with their sailfish release today.
