Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies all day.  The winds were from the north-west switching to the north-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s

On the Buxton beach there were pompano, bluefish and a few puppy drum caught.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish were biting well on lures.  On the Frisco beach sea mullet and croakers were caught.  The Hatteras beaches had reports of bluefish, croaker, flounder, pompano and spot.

The inshore boats had good puppy drum fishing and some speckled trout caught in the Pamlico Sound. The offshore boats had good dolphin and wahoo catches and a few king mackerel.
