Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had clear skies today with winds from the south-west at 5 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s  today.  We are still being affected by the Government Shut Down.

On the Buxton beaches bluefish and croakers are being caught. Over on the Frisco beach pompano, bluefish and puppy drum were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beaches there were some bluefish, sea mullet and flounder reported.

The boats fishing the Pamlico Sound had good catches of puppy drum and bluefish.

The offshore boats had good fishing today.. Good dolphin and wahoo catches with a few yellowfin tuna and blackfin tuna fishing was excellent.  3 sail fish and a blue marlin were released today.
