Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was partly cloudy with a high of 63F. It was windy with winds from the north-north-east at 25-30 mph with gusts to 35mph.
Despite the winds there are people fishing and better yet, there are fish being caught. Buxton had puppy drum. Out at Ramp 43 were speckled trout and puppy drum. Cape Point had lots of puppy drum and bluefish. Here at Ramp 49 we had bluefish, sea mullet, flounder, blow toads. Also reports of sheepshead and spot. Hatteras had reports of puppy drum, bluefish and flounder.
Due to all the wind and chop no boats went out inshore or offshore today.
