Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with a high of 72F. Breezy, with winds from the southwest at 15 to 25 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.
Puppy drum continue to bite up and down the beaches from Avon to Hatteras. Avon Pier had quite a few big drum this morning. Buxton had puppy drum, flounder and bluefish. There were some speckled trout reported at the jetties. Cape Point had puppy drum and big drum this morning along with some bluefish and keeper flounder. The bite continued at Frisco, on the north side of the Pier. It was not as good as yesterday, but still good. More puppy drum caught on mullet today, with some on artificials. There were also some speckled trout caught near the pier. Hatteras had reports of bluefish, puppy drum and flounder as well.
There were no boats out today, inshore or offshore.
