Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny with calm winds. We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
Today on the Avon Beaches there were sea mullet, bluefish and some spots caught. Around the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point some puppy drum and bluefish, were caught. Over on the Frisco beach a few bluefish and sea mullet were reported.
The inshore boats had a great day of Cobia action south of Cape Point in Buxton to Hatteras Inlet with several caught. The offshore fleet had a great day as well with lots of gaffer dolphin and some nice 50 lb plus yellowfin tuna and a few wahoo and black fin tuna. There were a couple of white marlin released today. The picture below is the white marlin release from the “Sea Creature” charter boat today.
