Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s. On the Avon beach some spot and some croaker were caught. Around the Buxton beaches only a few puppy drum and pompano were reported. The Picture below is Rebekah Galicia with a citation 2 lb 8 oz pompano caught on the Buxton beach. Over on the Frisco beach some sea mullet were caught .
The inshore fishing in the Pamlico Sound was pretty good today with lots of puppy drum and some speckled and gray trout. The offshore boats had another real good marlin bite today. Several white marlin and lots of dolphin with a few blackfin tuna mixed in. The “Brothers Pride” brought in a 664 lb blue marlin today that came up tail wrapped.
