Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies and light winds. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
On the Avon beach there were spot, croaker and sea mullet reported. Around the Buxton beaches only a few sea mullet and pompano were caught. Over on the Frisco beach a few sea mullet and a keeper puppy drum were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach at the Inlet the bluefish bite turned on little with lures. A few spot, croaker and sea mullet were also reported.
The inshore boats had good catches spanish mackerel and bluefish in and around Hatteras Inlet. The puppy drum and gray trout fishing were good in the Pamlico Sound today.
The offshore fishing was slow for meat fishing. Scattered dolphin and wahoo. Four sailfish and 2 blue marlin were released. The trigger fishing was good today from the bottom.
