Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with increasing winds by the late afternoon. The winds were from the north-west at 10-15 mph increasing to 15-20 mph. The temperatures were in the mid to upper 50’s.
Up on the Avon beaches some puppy drum, spot and sea mullet were caught. Around the Buxton beaches there were bluefish, sea mullet and some puppy drum reported. Out at Cape Point in Buxton there were decent catches of bluefish and puppy drum.. Over on the Frisco beach some sea mullet, puppy drum and flounder were reported. Down on the Hatteras beaches sea mullet, bluefish, pompano and puppy drum were reported.
No boats fished today inshore or offshore due to the gusty north-west breeze.
