Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was partly cloudy with some rain showers late in the day. The winds were from the north-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s. Tomorrow we have 1-2 inches of rain in the forecast due to a low pressure moving up the coast, but the weekend weather looks good.
Up on the Avon beaches today sea mullet, more big red drum and some puppy drum were reported. Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, puppy drum, some flounder, blow toads and sea mullet were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton a few puppy drum and bluefish were caught. On the Frisco beaches today a few puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach some bluefish, flounder, sea mullet and puppy drum were reported.
The inshore boats had excellent puppy drum fishing and some real good speckled trout catches in the Pamlico Sound today.
The offshore boats caught lots of black fin tuna.
