Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was hot but not as hot. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph with some higher gusts and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
Around the Avon beaches there were sea mullet and croakers caught. Around the Buxton beaches some spanish mackerel were caught. Over on the Frisco beaches a few sea mullet were reported. Down on the Hatteras beaches bluefish and sea mullet were caught.
The inshore boats caught bluefish and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound today. A couple of cobia were also caught on cut bait in the Pamlico Sound.
Only a few offshore boats fished today and they had some good dolphin catches and a few black fin tuna.
