Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was partly sunny with some a short period of heavy rain showers and lighting. The winds were from the west south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
Fishing was pretty good today. Up on the Avon beaches some sea mullet, croaker and spot were caught. Around the Buxton beaches spanish mackerel and sea mullet were reported. The Frisco beaches had puppy and yearling drum as well as pompano and sea mullet. The Hatteras beaches down at Hatteras Inlet was really good with lots of small flounder, spanish mackerel and some sea mullet.
The inshore boats caught bluefish, puppy drum, gray trout and a few cobia in the Pamlico Sound today.
No boats fished offshore today.
