Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with light rain. We had south-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Up on the Avon beach there were croaker, spot and sea mullet again today. Around the Buxton beaches some bluefish, puppy drum and yearling drum, sea mullet and a few flounder were reported. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were sea mullet, pompano, croaker, bluefish and a few flounder caught.
Pictured below is Chris Daves from Rosman NC with a nice 36 in red drum caught over ramp 44 in Buxton this afternoon. Pretty work Chris.
The inshore boats had good red drum and bluefish action. A few boats caught some spanish mackerel.
The offshore boats had good catches wahoo with a few dolphin and blackfin tuna caught. Several sharks released today.
