Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a nice day on Hatteras Island, we reached a high of 81F. We had winds out of the north-north-east all day, 5-12 mph.
The winds made it a little tough to fish the northern beaches, but there was still a few fish to report. Avon reports some croaker, sea mullet and bluefish. Buxton reports pompano and sea mullet. Frisco just had some small pompano, bluefish and a few keeper flounder. Hatteras had some puppy drum, pompano, flounder and bluefish.
The inshore boats caught some bluefish and red drum, some citation size today. Pictured below is Sound Bound Charters with a nice citation drum they caught today.
The offshore boats stayed at the docks today due to the winds.
